Confluence

I’m swept away by this river
Of doubt and subtlety.
Fill my lungs with life,
That I might not drown but rather
Be set free of opposing currents.
Longing to become part of the flow,
To taste truth in the water,
To understand the ebbs.
And eventually find fullness
in the confluence that follows.
